UNIFORMS

Pre-School Clothing and Uniform Policy

Please dress your child in modest play clothes and shoes that fit securely for your child’s comfort and safety.

Uniforms are not required in our Pre-School Program. However, if you choose, uniforms may be worn only on chapel days. (Campus Club uniform information is available in the school office). We understand that accidents occur, clothing is torn, painted on, wet up and spilled on. Children become very active during outside play, and art projects can become messy. The school is not responsible for lost or damaged clothing due to regular daily classroom activity.

Play is a wonderful, active way to learn and socially interact with others. Opened toe shoes, thongs or sandals are not allowed at anytime. Girls are not permitted to wear spaghetti strap shirts. Girls may wear skirts or dresses as long as they wear shorts or leggings underneath. Boys are not permitted to wear earrings. Please do not send your child to school in any Powder Puff, Power Ranger, or animated fighting character clothing, lunch boxes, blankets, pillows or back packs as these kinds of characters can encourage violent or aggressive play.

One complete change of clothing must be on hand at all times for each student despite his or her age. A top, bottom, underwear and socks (to be changed seasonally), each labeled with your child’s first and last name, must be brought and kept at school in a large, labeled zip lock bag. The school is not responsible for providing extra clothing if an accident occurs. In the event an accident occurs and the child has no extra clothing, the parents will be called and required to bring clothing, ASAP!

Please make sure your child is properly dressed for the weather. If your child does not have a jacket or proper clothing for outdoor weather, the parents will be called and required to bring weather appropriate attire. They will not be allowed to sit in the office or another classroom.
