6TH GRADE CLASS SCHEDULE
MATHEMATICS: Review of all mathematics concepts and introduction to algebra, plane and solid geometry, statistics, and trigonometry, problem solving, etc.
ENGLISH & LITERATURE: Writing Process, types of writings, skills for studying, researching, and speaking, literary elements, higher-level of thinking, vocabulary enrichment, etc.
HISTORY: Covers the people, places, and events of North and South America, expand students’ Christian worldview and enrich their critical thinking skills.
LIFE SCIENCE: Study of God’s living creation: cell biology, genetics, the history of life, microbiology, botany, zoology, ecology, and human anatomy and physiology, all within a biblical framework. *Hands-On Activities which include labs.
BIBLE: Overview of Themes and Concepts: God’s Word is truth, God loves everyone, God tells His story in the Bible, and Christ-like behavior.
7TH GRADE CLASS SCHEDULE
(build upon concepts and skills learned in 6th grade)
History of the World
(creation to early 21st century, a chronologically studying the ebb and flow of empires, cultures, examination of trends coming out of the 21st century and expanding students’ Christian worldview)
(Study of earth reveals God’s handiwork and in the heavens. Topics include mapping, geology, rocks/minerals, oceanography, meteorology, etc.)
*Hands-On Activities which include labs.
(Boys and Girls have separate classes, due to covering the topic of sexual purity from a Biblical View (NO Focus on sexual acts). Focus is on self-esteem and abstinence

8TH GRADE CLASS SCHEDULE
(build upon concepts and skills learned in 6th grade and 7th grade)
History of US
Themes: Geographic development of US, form of government under the Constitution, economics, religion and culture.
(Christian versus secular worldview aspects of science; definition of key elements of scientific knowledge, laws, theories, and hypotheses, covering such topics as mechanics, electromagnetism, periodic phenomena, structure of matter, and introduction to chemistry) *Hands-On Activities which include labs
*Continue to build upon 7th grade goal of developing students’ self-esteem from a Biblical View and choosing purity.
