Statement of Faith

Although we are a non-denominational school and church we believe…

1. The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21)

2. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God, the Father; God, the Son; and God, the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19, II Corinthians 13:14)

3. Our Lord Jesus Christ is deity in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule for one thousand years. (John 1:1, 14; Acts 1:9-11; II Corinthians 5:21; Revelation 20:6)

4. There is a Blessed Hope - the rapture of the church at Christ’s coming.  (Titus2:13; I Thessalonians 4:16-17)

5. The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ, in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Luke 24:47; I Peter 1:18-19; Romans 10:9-10)

6. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. (John 3:3-5; Titus 3:5)

7. Water baptism and the Lord’s Supper (or Communion) are ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age.

8. The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. (Matthew 28:19; I Corinthians 11:24-30)

9. The baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4), is given to believers who ask for it. (Acts 1:4-8; 2:38-39)

10. The sanctifying power of the indwelling Holy Spirit enables the Christian to live a holy life. (I Corinthians 1:30; I Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 12:14)

11. There will be a resurrection of both the saved and unsaved, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation. (Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 19:20; 21)
